For all you Stolen Horses fans out there here is a news update for what is going on in 2009. The band is doing a recording later this month of a great song called Kissing on her Redneck. This particular tune really grabs peoples attention by its drive and unique sound. David Lyle, Lead Singer, can see the potential of the song hitting the charts. The song should be available and put on their current demo CD by June. Stolen Horses has recently acquired a new guitar player whose name is Keith. He has a great chicken pickin country style that compliments the band very well. He has been with the band about a month now and and has really enjoyed playing with the rest of the guys so far. A new agent that Stolen Horses has recently started booking through is Dagen Entertainment . Their most recent booking was at Shooters Saloon in Superior, WI . This is a great country music venue that brings in people from all over Northern Wisconson and Minnesota. The gig was in early May and done Tuesday through Sunday. This was a great chance for the band to gel and entertain a whole new region of people. Some new songs the band now knows is Copper Head Road, which is a great tune that features the Mandolin, and Souths Gonna Do it Again by Charlie Daniels. They have goals learning songs like Country Man by Luke Bryan and some more famous Alabama tunes. They look forward to playing at the bar Cowboy Up in Mendon, MI this next week to really show off some new songs and styles they have learned. The Cowboy Up Bar is a great line dancing Bar that really pulls in a lot of country fans far and wide.
