When you are setting out to develop an internet home-based business you will want to make money from as many sources as you can and one of the very popular ways to do it is with Google Adsense when doing your internet marketing. The point is when you are setting up your websites for affiliate marketing you can add into your website Google Adsense and you can build up a nice little passive income from these ads alone. Adsense ads are ads that are placed on your website and when one of your visitors clicks on the ad, the owner of the ad pays Google a click through fee and Google passes a percentage of that fee on to you. In other words they are paying for you to advertise. Income possibilities Say you had 5 websites with 2 blocks of adsense ads on each. If each ad was clicked on twice a day that would be 20 clicks per day and if you got paid .30c per click you would make a passive income of $6 per day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. That would be $2,190 for just setting up 2 adsense ads on each of your websites. If you are going to develop a home-based business you may well end up with 15 websites before long (many full-time internet marketers have a lot more than that) and if you do then on the same ratio you would earn $126 per week for doing next to nothing after the set up. How good is that? Making adsense work Don't get me wrong here, I don't mean that you can set up a website and forget about it. If that was all you did you would be sorely disappointed. To be successful with adsense your website has to be seen. You have to have a presence on the net. To keep your site active you will need to spend a few hours a week on promoting. If you can get yourself up to page 1 of Google, then you might be able to forget about it, but until that time you will need to keep promoting your site so that you get a continual stream of visitors. Once you have the visitors to your website through internet marketing then you have a good chance of getting paid from your adsense ads.
