Affiliate Marketing is great in that you can start this business with very little expenditure and develop your home-based business over time. The opportunities are endless in that you are promoting and selling other peoples products. Your sole aim is to make money selling their products, not spending time making your own products. Ebay and Amazon.com have the opportunity for people to link to their sites but operate from their own websites. In other words, you can set up your own mini-site and put in a link to these sites whereby you will receive commission on a sale. Why these sites are good for the beginner is that they are well-known sites and you do not need to build creditability as you do with a completely new site. For this reason your success in selling from Ebay and Amazon .com usually happens quicker. Mini-sites are easy to set up once you have the software. After having set up one or two sites you will find it particularly easy and from there you can affiliate to any product of your choice. Before you set up your site have a search around and see how others have set theirs up and read the content and how the content is put together. Whilst having a site look attractive is important, the wording of your site is more critical. It needs to draw the reader in and convince the reader that it is worth getting out their credit card. To do this you need to convince the buyer that the product you have is the answer to their problem. Once you are experienced in setting up websites you will be able to develop your home-based business into something quite substantial and with determination and the willingness to learn, it could become your first source of income.
