  • Myths About Skydiving
As skydiving becomes more and more popular, many people may be interested to know some of the facts of skydiving. Whether you are just taking a one time jump with a tandem instructor for the one time thrill of it, or you have decided that this is a great sport for the long haul, this information is sure to be interesting for you.
  • Show the World You Love Skydiving
There is never an end to the odd sports that people want to do or combine. In May of 2007, a Swede called "Jonas" decided he wanted to combine two things he loves-tattoos and skydiving-by being tattooed while parachuting at 13,000 feet. He had to keep it simple, of course because it had to be done quickly. They must have used an altimeter watch to measure the time. But the tattoo certainly said it all: the tattoo said WFFT, which stood for "World's First Free Fall Tattoo". For his efforts, Jonas got his name in the Guinness Book of Records for being the first person to be tattooed while skydiving.
  • A Skydiving Suit is Not Just For Fashion
Having the right equipment is important in a sport, and most skydivers agree that it is just as important to have the right skydiving suit as it is to have the right parachute. Everyone is different, so each of us needs a suit that is custom tailored for our own unique build and size. If your suit does not fit properly, your free fall may be seriously impaired.
  • A Great Way to Afford Skydiving
It may sound odd, but there is a great value in used skydiving equipment. As in other items such as exercise machines or skis, where people buy them and only find time (or devotion) to use them once or twice, the same thing goes for the equipment involved in skydiving.
